| I have titled this Homeports as we have always been a Navy Family and our lives have generally been near the water. When you live a boaters life each place you live is essentially your Homeport. We bought our first boat right after we were married and for me it was a life changing moment. Ever since I have looked towards the next boat when I wasn't living on one. It seems something hard to grow out of. Maybe I never will. I know Dee loves having a house to call home, and Dorian calls the Egg Harbor Inne her home, but for me it is not just a home. My boats have been my place, my vessel to carry me to freedom. Even now I am anxiously look for the next boat. I digress from my subject though. A homeport is where you tie up your boat, drop your anchor, or simply someplace you always come back to when you are done sailing the world. Here are some of ours from the past.
